Shiitake Mushroom Seasoning
Each bottle of Shiitake Seasoning starts with nearly half a pound of fresh organic Shiitake mushrooms. These Shiitakes, with their rich, earthy flavor, are dried and blended with my hand mined, unrefined Pure Himalayan Salt. Enjoy this low-sodium gourmet blend as an instant soup and sauce base. Use in stir fries, sauces and salad dressings, on fish, chicken, pork, ramen, tofu, and in marinades. Also wonderful on popcorn!
Organic: Shiitake Mushrooms, Pure Himalayan Salt.
Shiitake Ginger Sesame Dressing
1 Cup Extra Virgin Olive Oil
1/4 cup Rice Vinegar (unseasoned)
3 Tablespoons Mick’s Gourmet Shiitake Mushroom Seasoning
2 Tablespoons Fresh Ginger, minced
1 Tablespoon Fresh Garlic, minced
1 Tablespoon Soy Sauce
1 Tablespoon Sesame Seeds
1 Teaspoon Sesame Oil
Place all ingredients in a pint jar. Shake well. Use as a salad dressing or as a wonderful sauce for stir fry and chicken marinade.
Refrigerate any left over portion. I like to use organic ingredients for this recipe, which are readily available at most markets.
